Realme C75 complete review, should you buy this phone ?
If you’re looking for a phone that balances good battery life with day-to-day performance, here’s our simple and honest review of the Realme C75, based on real usage.
Realme C75 features a 6.72-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, offering around 392 PPI. It supports a 90Hz refresh rate, which makes scrolling smoother than standard displays. Brightness goes up to 690 nits in High Brightness Mode (HBM), which is decent enough for outdoor use. It also features an Always-On display. Protection-wise, it comes with ArmorShell Glass and is IP68/IP69 certified, meaning it’s dust and water resistant up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes, definitely a plus in this price range.
Inside, it runs on the Mediatek Helio G92 Max chipset, which scored 286,971 on Antutu. This performance is good enough for daily use and some light gaming, although you shouldn’t expect flagship-level speed. Storage options include 128GB or 256GB of internal space paired with 8GB of RAM, and yes, it supports microSDXC cards, so you can expand storage when needed.
The camera setup includes a 50 MP main sensor along with a secondary lens (unspecified), which manages to capture decent photos, especially during daytime. You can shoot videos at 1080p@30/60fps. The front camera is 8 MP, and it also records videos at 1080p@30fps. From our testing, daytime shots looked colorful and bright, but sometimes a bit too vibrant. Low-light photography is just okay — not bad, but nothing special either. Video stabilization is lacking, so footage may appear shaky if you’re moving around.
There’s a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, which worked reliably and quickly in all our tests.
One of the biggest highlights of this phone is the 6000 mAh battery. It’s non-removable and supports 45W fast charging. In our real-life charging test, the phone went from 0% to 100% in 1 hour and 16 minutes, which is pretty solid. Battery backup was even more impressive. we got 12 hours and 43 minutes of usage in our drain test, which included a mix of gaming, social media, camera usage, and web browsing. For gamers, the phone dropped just 14% in 1 hour of gaming, showing that it can easily last through long sessions.
In terms of gaming, the phone handled PUBG at 40 FPS with Smooth-Ultra graphics settings. It’s suitable for casual gaming, and even though it’s not a gaming phone, the performance was consistent and smooth enough for most light to mid-range games.
