Oppo Reno 13 Pro Test Results – Performance Review

Oppo Reno 13 Pro – A Beautifully Balanced All-Rounder
Today, we bring you an in-depth look at the Oppo Reno 13 Pro, a smartphone that balances design, performance, camera quality, and battery efficiency in a way that makes it a worthy contender in the upper-midrange category. Based on our hands-on tests, here’s everything you need to know before making a decision.

Display
The Oppo Reno 13 Pro features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a sharp 1272 x 2800 pixel resolution (~450 PPI). It supports 1.07 billion colors and a wide color gamut (P3), resulting in vivid and accurate color reproduction. With a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate, the display is both smooth and highly responsive, ideal for scrolling, gaming, and media consumption.
In terms of brightness, you can expect 600 nits (typical) and up to 1200 nits (HBM), which makes it usable under direct sunlight. The phone also offers IP69 water and dust resistance, a glass back, and a metal frame, all of which contribute to a premium feel.

Storage & RAM
The Reno 13 Pro comes in two variants, 256GB or 1TB internal storage, paired with either 12GB or 16GB of RAM, utilizing UFS 3.1 for faster data access and app loading. Please note that there is no SD card slot, so choose your storage variant accordingly.

Processor & Performance
Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350, coupled with 16GB of RAM. In our performance tests, it achieved an Antutu score of 1,299,328, which is solid for this category. While it doesn’t quite match flagship-level performance from devices like the Samsung S25 Edge (2,156,436) or the Poco F7 Ultra (2,423,534), it still handles multitasking, gaming, and heavy usage quite well.

Battery & Charging
The Reno 13 Pro houses a 5800mAh battery, which is more than sufficient for all-day usage. It supports 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Here are our test results:
Charging: 75% charge in just 30 minutes, full charge (100%) in 46 minutes via 80W wired charging.
Battery Backup: Lasted 14 hours and 55 minutes under normal use, including gaming, video recording, browsing, and media playback.
Overall, the battery performance is excellent, especially for users who are often on the go.

Gaming Experience
We tested the phone thoroughly with PUBG, and it supports Smooth – Extreme+ graphics settings with 90FPS gameplay. The gaming experience was stable and enjoyable with no frame drops or overheating.
However, it’s important to mention that 120FPS is not supported in PUBG, which might be a limitation for competitive gamers looking for ultra-high frame rates. If 120FPS is a must-have for you, you may want to explore other gaming-focused devices.

Camera Performance
While the Reno 13 Pro isn’t a “camera phone” by design, the results are surprisingly good. It comes equipped with a triple rear camera setup: 50MP wide lens (ƒ/1.8, 26mm) 8MP ultra-wide lens (ƒ/2.2, 15mm) 50MP telephoto lens (ƒ/2.8, 80mm) The front camera features a 50MP wide sensor, capable of shooting 4K video at 30/60fps.

In our tests, the OIS worked well, especially when capturing fast-moving subjects. The underwater mode produced some fantastic shots, and features like live photo action and background blur were both pleasant and effective. Color representation was consistent, and the camera handled strong contrast without oversaturation. The bokeh effect in portrait mode also stood out, delivering high-quality, eye-catching results. While it may not outperform camera-centric flagships like the S25 Ultra or iPhone 16, it comes surprisingly close and for most users, the difference will be negligible.

Final Words
The Oppo Reno 13 Pro is a well-rounded smartphone with a focus on balanced performance rather than excelling in one specific area. With a premium design, great battery life, solid gaming capabilities, and a respectable camera, it’s a strong option for users who want a stylish all-rounder.

While it’s not the top choice for those seeking the absolute best in gaming or photography, it handles both aspects well enough to satisfy most users. If you’re looking for a beautiful, powerful phone that performs across all categories without compromising too much on any one of them, the Reno 13 Pro is worth your consideration.
