Vivo V60 Lite 5G, a newly launched phone, is here for review, so let’s see how it performs in real life. In this review, we will be testing its overall performance, PUBG gaming performance, AnTuTu score, battery backup, charging speed, and every other aspect that should be checked before buying a phone. Before we move on to the review, below is a list of the main highlighted features of this phone.
Specifications of this phone are top notch and here is how it looks. The build quality and design of the Vivo V60 Lite 5G are great. It’s a lightweight phone, and the in-hand feel is really comfortable and premium. The very first thing we noticed during the physical inspection was the lack of a 3.5mm headphone jack, which might be a downside for those who still use wired earphones. It comes with a dual SIM tray, but there is no MicroSD card slot available, which means you’ll have to rely on the internal storage. Overall, the build of this phone is solid, and it definitely looks premium when you hold it.
Although it carries an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, Vivo’s official website clearly mentions that there will be no warranty claim if the device is accidentally damaged by water or dust. So even though it has a rating, you still need to be careful with it. The frame feels strong, the buttons are firm, and the back panel has a nice matte finish that resists fingerprints to some extent. The curved edges also make it more comfortable to hold. So that’s all from the build and design section, no major complaints here at all.
Moving to the display, it features a large 6.77-inch AMOLED panel, and honestly, Vivo has done a really good job here. The display offers a 120Hz screen refresh rate, and you can even customize it separately for different apps. This feature really adds flexibility and gives users more control over performance and battery life. You can go into settings and toggle the switch for 120Hz whenever you want, or simply keep it off to save power. By default, most of the apps run at 60Hz, which helps with efficiency.
The scrolling experience feels super smooth, and the overall touch response is fast and fluid. Outdoor visibility is excellent, thanks to the 3000 nits peak brightness, which makes the screen easy to read even under direct sunlight. The bezels are very thin, giving it a modern and premium look. One thing that didn’t impress us much is the Always-On Display feature, as it only stays active for about 10 seconds, which defeats the purpose of calling it “always-on.” Apart from that, the overall display experience is top-notch, whether you’re watching videos, browsing, or using social media. The speaker quality is decent and loud enough for most situations, and the in-display fingerprint sensor works quickly and reliably.
Now talking about performance, the Vivo V60 Lite 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo processor. It managed to score 890,582 points on AnTuTu version 11, which shows that it can handle demanding tasks easily. The phone performs well in all scenarios, including multitasking, browsing, and running heavy applications. RAM management is great, and the overall experience remains smooth and responsive.
However, there’s one limitation that may matter to some users, it supports only 60 FPS in PUBG Mobile. Some phones in this price range do offer 90 FPS gaming, so if you’re mainly buying a phone for gaming, there might be better options available. But if your main focus is smooth daily usage, performance stability, and multitasking rather than high-end gaming, you will be more than satisfied with this device. Overall performance is impressive, and it rarely shows any lag or overheating issues even during extended use.
The battery section is one of the strongest aspects of this phone. The Vivo V60 Lite 5G packs a massive 6500mAh battery, which easily gives you a day and a half of usage on normal daily tasks. On moderate use, you can expect around 8–9 hours of screen-on time. The battery backup is excellent for its category. It also supports 90W fast charging, which means you can charge it very quickly. During our test, the phone charged up to 55% in just 30 minutes and took about 57 minutes to go from 0 to 100%. That’s quite impressive, especially when you consider that a full charge easily lasts a full day. So, in the battery and charging department, Vivo has done a great job. There are no major issues or concerns at all.
Coming to the camera, the Vivo V60 Lite 5G performs really well when it comes to photography. The images are crisp, detailed, and full of natural colors. The main camera captures shots with good dynamic range and sharpness, especially in daylight. Portrait shots are also impressive, with accurate edge detection and natural-looking skin tones. However, when it comes to videography, the results are just average. The 1080p videos are stable and look fine, but 4K footage tends to be a little shaky due to the lack of optical stabilization. The ultrawide lens performs normally, it gets the job done but doesn’t show much improvement compared to previous Vivo models. Overall, camera performance is decent and reliable for casual users and social media photography.
In conclusion, the Vivo V60 Lite 5G delivers solid performance in almost every department. It has a premium design, a bright AMOLED display with a smooth refresh rate, powerful hardware, excellent battery life, and fast charging. However, there are a few compromises such as the lack of NFC support, limited 60 FPS gameplay in PUBG, and average video stabilization. If these things are not a deal breaker for you, this phone absolutely justifies its price and delivers a balanced user experience.
If your priorities are a great display, long battery life, smooth performance, and decent camera results, then the Vivo V60 Lite 5G is definitely worth buying. But if you’re a heavy gamer or someone who prefers flagship-level camera stabilization, you might want to explore a few alternatives. Overall, Vivo has created a very capable mid-range phone that looks stylish, performs reliably, and offers excellent value for money.
