Vivo V60 5G has finally landed in Pakistan, and after testing it for a while, here is how it performed. Right out of the box, the phone feels solid and well-built, giving the impression that Vivo has put extra thought into its design and durability. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 (4nm), it delivers a strong overall performance, scoring 1,018,394 on AnTuTu. In day-to-day use, there were no issues with demanding apps, multitasking, or heavy usage. Everything ran smoothly without any noticeable delay or lag.
The display is one of the most impressive aspects of this phone. It features a 6.77-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering smooth scrolling and crisp visuals. With 1500 nits HBM and up to 5000 nits peak brightness, the screen remains clear and vibrant even under direct sunlight, which is not something every phone can pull off. Watching videos or gaming on this display feels immersive, and combined with stereo speakers, the experience is enjoyable.
Design-wise, Vivo has kept things neat and modern. The phone comes with Schott Xensation Core protection, a glass front, and a plastic back that still manages to look premium. It feels slim and lightweight in hand, which makes it comfortable for longer use. Storage options include 256GB or 512GB paired with 12GB RAM, using UFS 2.2 storage. While the storage type isn’t the fastest available today, performance is still good enough for most users.
Cameras are a major highlight here. The triple rear setup includes a 50 MP wide lens, a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens, and an 8 MP ultrawide. The sensors, tuned by ZEISS, captured excellent pictures in most scenarios, with great detail and color reproduction. The telephoto lens delivered sharp zoom shots, and the main sensor performed really well in daylight and indoor lighting. However, the ultrawide camera was disappointing and lacked the consistency of the other lenses. On the video side, it supports 4K at 30fps and 1080p at 60fps on both front and rear cameras, which is great for vloggers or casual shooters. The 50 MP front camera also produces sharp selfies with natural colors.
When it comes to gaming, the Vivo V60 5G is decent but not groundbreaking. PUBG runs smoothly at 60 FPS, with maximum graphics capped at UltraHDR-Ultra. While this is fine for casual players, competitive gamers might find it limiting since other phones in this range now offer higher FPS options. It is possible that a future update could unlock better frame rates, but for now, this remains a small drawback for gaming enthusiasts.
Battery life is another strong point. The phone packs a 6500 mAh Si-Ca battery with 90W fast charging. In our testing, it went from 0 to 100% in just 49 minutes, which is impressive for such a large battery. It can easily last a full day of heavy use, and charging speed is quick enough to not leave you waiting. Combined with IP68/IP69 protection, this device feels reliable for everyday use.
Overall, the Vivo V60 5G is a well-rounded phone that shines in many areas. It offers a bright and smooth display, excellent cameras tuned by ZEISS, good overall performance, stereo speakers, and strong battery life. On the downside, the ultrawide camera is underwhelming, there is no eSIM support, and the price feels slightly on the higher side compared to alternatives. At PKR 149,999, it is a solid choice for camera lovers, but performance-focused users may find better options in the same price bracket.
