Charging: Samsung A26 charged 40% battery in first 30 minutes, 60% in 45 minutes while 0-100% took 1 hour  1 hour 32 minutes.
Backup:  11+ hours battery backup, drain test includes gaming, web browsing, social media and photo-videography.

The front camera takes great pictures in good daylight.
Portraits are excellent — edge detection is great, and background blur is on point.
No overexposure is seen in any of the pictures taken with the main sensor; all results look natural.
Ultrawide images are great and rich in detail.
We noticed a bit of dullness in colors — you might need to apply a filter if you prefer stronger tones.
2x zoom images are usable, but 5x zoom images look awkward. At 10x zoom, the image becomes useless.
Macro shots are usable — images are pretty good.
Super Steady mode works perfectly.
4K video recording: Steady videos are great, but motion videos aren’t as impressive — scene switching takes time and tends to overexpose.
Autofocus in videos does an excellent job; it works quickly in all video modes.
Videos: Although the back camera delivers great results, it requires proper lighting. In low-light conditions, the videos are not great — just usable.

Samsung Galaxy A26 is a great phone — beautiful display, great camera, decent battery backup, and a decent processor. It also promises 6 generations of OS upgrades and 6 years of security updates. All these combined make it an ideal choice for someone looking for a phone that offers both performance and long-term value.

But there are still a few things you should know before buying it. The phone has large bezels, which make it look a bit outdated. Gaming performance is pretty decent, but don’t expect a full-fledged gaming experience.
