The first downside is the display. In this price range, many competitors have started offering AMOLED panels, but Redmi 15 still comes with an IPS display. However, it is not all bad since the phone features a 6.9-inch screen with Full HD+ (1080p) resolution, which looks sharp and clear for daily use.
Another area where users might notice a compromise is the thickness. At 8.4 mm, the device feels slightly bulky in the hand. This is because Redmi has packed a much larger battery inside, which explains the added size. Performance-wise, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 685 processor. It is efficient and works well for routine tasks, but users looking for high performance might expect more at this price point. In benchmark tests, Redmi 15 scored 502,964 points on Antutu v11, which is close to the Vivo Y29 4G’s 314,603 score on Antutu v10.

Even though the charging time of 99 minutes might sound long, it is quite reasonable for such a large capacity.
